What we collect, and where it goes

What the case review form collects

When you submit the free case review form, you give us:

• Your name and phone number, which are required
• Your email address, which is optional
• The type of case you select
• The date and the city or county where the incident happened, if you enter them
• A short description of what happened, in your own words, if you enter one
• The best time to reach you, and how you heard about us

Please do not send detailed confidential material through this form before we have spoken. Our disclaimer explains why.

What is collected automatically with a submission

When the form is sent, it also carries:

• The page you submitted from, and the site or search that referred you
• Advertising parameters present in the link you arrived on, where there are any — the standard campaign tags, plus the click identifiers used by Google, Meta and Microsoft advertising
• Which office page you were on, and the language you used the form in

Our server also briefly holds the IP address a submission came from, in memory only, to stop the form being used to send bulk messages. It is not written to a database and is not part of what we send onward.

Where that information goes

Form submissions are sent to our intake system, which is operated for us at leads.laurencebanville.com and routes the enquiry to this firm. That is how a member of our team receives it and calls you back.

We may use analytics and tag management to understand how the site is used, and pages that show an office location embed a Google map. Those third-party services may set cookies or receive technical information such as your IP address and browser under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

What we use it for

• To contact you about the case review you asked for
• To check whether we can act for you, including whether there is a conflict of interest
• To answer questions you send us
• To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to the site
• To meet our professional and legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Calls and messages

If you call us, we may keep a record of the call and what was discussed so we can help you. If you give us your phone number, we may contact you about your enquiry by phone or text. You can tell us at any time to stop, and we will.

Asking us to correct or delete your information

You can ask us what we hold about you from the website, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (571) 526-0157 or use the contact page.

Where we already represent you or have represented you, some information has to be kept, because the rules that govern lawyers require us to keep client records. We will tell you if that applies.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it. Parents and guardians frequently contact us about a child’s injury, and that is information given to us by an adult about their own family.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise — which is another reason not to send sensitive documents through a web form.
