Who we are
Blank Kim Injury Law was founded by Aaron Blank and Robert Kim, and both are licensed in Virginia and Maryland. Between them they cover the two halves of this work: the medical negligence and catastrophic injury cases that turn on records and physician testimony, and the collision and premises claims where an insurer is betting you will take the first offer.
The firm has offices across Maryland, listed on bkinjurylawyers.com. This site is for Virginia, where the firm’s office is in Fairfax.
Where we practice in Virginia
Our Virginia office is at 4160 Chain Bridge Rd #100, Fairfax, VA 22030, on Chain Bridge Road near the Fairfax County Courthouse. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, because the call after a serious injury rarely comes during business hours. Appointment required for office visits.
We take cases from across Northern Virginia, including Fairfax County, Arlington, Alexandria, Prince William County and Loudoun County, and from elsewhere in Virginia. More Virginia offices are planned. See where we practice.
In your own language
Attorney Robert Kim is fluent in Korean and works with Korean-speaking clients directly, in Korean, from the first call to the end of the case. Northern Virginia’s Korean-American communities in Annandale and Centreville are a short drive from our Fairfax office. Our paralegal team speaks Spanish.
This matters more than it sounds. An injury claim turns on precise descriptions of pain, symptoms and sequence, and those details get flattened when a family member is translating. It also means an insurer cannot take advantage of a language gap.
How we work
- We investigate early. Camera footage, vehicle data and site evidence are routinely gone within days, long before any legal deadline.
- We plan for Virginia’s fault rule from the first day. Under contributory negligence, a small share of blame can end a claim, so how fault is documented matters from the start.
- We prepare cases as though they will be tried. An insurer treats a file that is ready for court differently from one that is not.
- We explain things in plain language, including the parts that are not good news.
- We will tell you when we do not think a claim can be proven. A case that collapses two years in costs you more than an honest answer at the start.
