Using this site, whatever you use to read it
People come to a personal injury website after something has happened to them, sometimes with a new injury affecting their sight, their hands or their concentration. A site that is hard to use is a bad site for this work specifically.
What we aim for
We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, at Level AA. That is our target and the standard we test against.
We are not claiming to have achieved perfect conformance. Automated testing cannot establish that, and we would rather tell you what we actually do than display a badge.
What that means in practice
- Colour contrast is tested against the AA thresholds, and we have changed brand colours where they did not pass rather than keeping a shade we liked.
- The site works with the keyboard alone, without a mouse, and focus is visible as you move through it.
- Headings are structured, so a screen reader can move through a page by section rather than reading everything in order.
- Form fields have real labels attached to them, and errors are announced rather than only shown in colour.
- Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are marked so they are skipped.
- Frequently asked questions are visible text rather than hidden behind controls that have to be opened.
- The site reflows to phone width without a horizontal scroll, and text can be enlarged.
What we know is imperfect
Some content on this site comes from third parties we do not control, including the embedded Google map on office pages and links out to directory profiles and support organizations. Their accessibility is theirs rather than ours.
We also have not yet had the site tested by people who use assistive technology daily, which is the only test that really counts. If you use one and something here does not work, we would genuinely like to know.

You never have to use this website to reach us. Everything the site does can be done by phone. If a page is in your way, call (571) 526-0157 and a person will take your information and start your free case review over the phone instead.
